Good old fashioned family fun. Had a great time at Lantern Bay, great sense of community and no shortage of activities to keep everyone busy. Makes for an easy bed time with the kids.

Very nice cottage type resort. The fishing is great if you have kids. There are many activities such as pool, basketball court, beach, canoeing, fishing. Can’t do everything in one day.

As always, our stay at a Cherry Beach Resort was excellent. I love the kids craft activities, as well as the friendliness of the staff and the cottage owners/neighbours. I was just a bit surprises to see that the kids splash pad was not in operation yet. My 3 year old son really loves the splash pad and pool. We had a blast and can’t wait to come back again!

When we checked in we were told we had to be moved to a newer unit and let’s just say we got our money’s worth and more! Three bedrooms, one with bunk beds for my kiddo, a full kitchen with all dishes and utensils and a spacious living area. The couch and chair were not comfortable at all, but I don’t suspect people staying here are staying inside. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet for sleeping. There was a nice little coffee station open in the morning as well for those that didn’t bring their own food and drink. It had a trailer park community feel but some of the units were very luxurious and had lots of curb appeal. The staff were very informative and welcoming. The main office had some merchandise and local sweets available for purchase. I can’t say enough about the attention they pay to children. I have already booked my second stay and can’t wait for the summer!

Second Stay – Great Experience!
This was our second stay at the resort, and once again it exceeded expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodations are spotless (we stayed in one of the condos), comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of fun. We loved the wide range of outdoor activities, especially the beach — it’s clean, well-maintained, and always has plenty of chairs available. It’s the perfect place for our family to unwind and spend quality time together. It’s also become a favorite meeting spot for our baseball team — a great place to connect, relax, and recharge. We’ll definitely be back.

I stayed recently in this beautiful secluded park along the shores of a little bay at Woodland Estate. The cottage was clean, close to beach and volleyball area, near the main office and pool. It was great because it was close enough, but not far away, which meant a very short walk. I had a nice deck overlooking the water, with a table and chairs and then a separate outdoor patio set with pillows. It also had a new bbq. When I opened the door to the cottage, the air conditioner was on, and just right given the mugginess of when I arrived. The cottage had 2 bedrooms, with a queen bed in one at one end of the cottage and this cool bedroom on the opposite end with 2 queen beds and 2 bunk singles, that also transformed into a seating area which would be great had I brought my 2 grandkids. I was travelling for work and decided to try something new instead of a typical hotel or a b&b. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and there was an after hours number to call if I ran into trouble. When I opened the door the air conditioner was on, and just right given the mugginess of when I arrived as it had just rained. Later that night, I could see all the stars from the deck and could hear the crickets singing. There were a few other cottage that had little campfire going and the smell of the burning wood drifted through the park. I popped some popcorn and caught up on my favourite Netflix seasons. I read the handy booklet they had, as I always do, that told me where everything was inside the cottage. I will be back in August, but this time with my husband and the grandkids. I read they have canoes and standup paddleboards which I can’t wait to try and the kids can go fishing with Opa – can’t wait.

We rented a very clean, modern and newly built cottage with 3 bedrooms by the water at a very reasonable rate. We had access to the recreation room, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, kayaks, canoes & paddle boats throughout our stay. It was a relaxing retreat for all of us.

This was our first cottage stay in Muskoka and Bonnie Lake Resort did not disappoint. Quaint little cottages beside the lake, the location is absolutely spectacular and with nature at its pristine best dressed in resplendent fall colors, it was a treat! The cottages are fairly new constructed and well maintained, with all necessary amenities and stocked with enough games to keep the kids busy on a family vacation. It was cold so we could not go kayaking, but we are not complaining , after all how often do you get to see the Milky Way when you look up to the sky at 8 in the evening. Their welcome center is only a call away till 12 in the night should you require any assistance. The bedrooms could be more spacious, but who spends time sleeping when you are amidst nature. We will be back sometime soon!

Love it there. Will be travelling there next year as they will be putting a pool in and couple other things. My kids loved the beach use of boats and park, basketball nets, Tennis as well. Fun get away for the family BOUNS: Staff are very kind and nice. Bonnie lake always has something going on. For instance when we were visiting they had Zoo to you for the kids!! UPDATE: So we ended up buying a trailer there we liked it so much. I also forgot to add ur about 15 mins from Santa’s Village its a great Amusement park for all aged kids. They rent out cottages threw the summer as well – check out there website if you want to rent cottages!
